I tried finding this in the reflector archives but couldn't. While I REALLY like version 8, there's something I got working properly in version 7 that no longer seems to work in version 8.
I have WPX for most bands except 30, 17 and 12 meters. I'd rather not get alarms for new prefixes on bands I no longer care about, such as 40. So in version 7 I told DX4Win that all bands (except 60 meters, for my purposes) were valid for WPX (so I wouldn't miss new mode prefixes), but I only wanted 30, 17 and 12 to be "valid" for band award purposes. I've done the same thing in version 8, but it tells me about every "new" prefix on bands I no longer care about. I checked my old version 7 settings for WPX and they appear identical to my version 8 settings so far as bands are concerned (all bands except 60 valid for the award, but only 30, 17 and 12 considered for award purposes).
