I have tried to install DX4W702 on a new laptop running windows 7 with no luck. I am installing from a CD. I click on the dx4w702.exe and the install begins. I am installing as administrator. It goes thru the process and at the end clicking finish it stops and ask me to copy vichw11.sys to c:\windows\system32\drivers. Having done that and verifying that the file is there I try to run the program and get the same error message. The error message also says see appendix for more information. I could not find any information in the appendix that referenced this issue.
I checked the type of processor and it is a 64 bit processor. Will this version of DX4WIN run on this machine?
