If you have changed your preference setting for SKINS (same window as "Leave all windows in original position" option) away from NO SKINS SELECTED that is your problem in ver. 8.02 or 8.03. If you select any other SKIN setting your windows size and positions will be messed up the next time you open the program.
It is too bad because I would rather use another skin than the default but as you experienced it does not work right. Maybe Paul has it on his to do list?
