Hi Carter,

There are a couple of things you need to realize first.

The biggest is that the lookup is not Automatic. When you use the F3
key, the "Callsign/Mgr lookup" window will appear. Then you have to
select this window and type the Enter key in it, to go to the QRZ.COM
web site, and the address will appear in your web browser.

Read this application note to see how to enable the QRZ.COM lookup in DX4WIN:

Find the section "Setting up DX4WIN", and look at the window example,
especially the section "Website Callsign Lookup" near the bottom of
the window.

Your subscription doesn't really help with DX4WIN, but it does make
you "legal" (i.e. supports Fred's efforts to maintain the data).

There is a different URL that software developers can use to read the
QRZ.COM data back in XML format, presumably so one could format and
display the results in the "Callsign / Mgr lookup" window. Paul has
not implemented this. I've asked in the past, maybe if enough people
do, he'll try.
