Hi. Radio control is not working - no connection between Radio (FT1000MP) and PC under XP SP3 nor WIN 7.
My CAT Cable has only three wires between the radio's CAT jack and the computer's serial port: COM1 The DB9 connector - I have bought it from Ebay - CWMAN Pin 3 to pin 3 Pin 2 to pin 2 Pin 5 to pin 5 COM1 port is configured with 4800, N 8 2. The DTR/DTS I have tried all combinations checked and not, only DTR or DTS. When I started any menu radio function on DX4Win, the CAT flash on FT1000MP panel, but not connect. I have installed MixW and it control the radio fine, changing BAND, MODE etc. It require DTR and RTS "always on". I have tried a second cable and the result was the same: not work. Probably I am forgotten a detail.. Any ideas, please. I would certainly appreciate the help. 73, PT2CC Marcos Marcos A.
