i am not a psk31 fun but i have used it sometimes and i made some experiments also in past. I was surprised when Jim said that dx4win and digipan share the same pskcore.dll. Under windows xp you can open both programs (shared the same soundcard) and make comparisons how decode. The digipan decoding is much better in my opinion (plus the multi decode capability). I don't know if someone needs to make some changes in dx4win default settings to have a better decode or Paul needs change something else. When psk first introduced (i think was in 503 version?) decoding was FB in comparison with digipan but now not.
