Jim, Just for the record, I uninstalled the lpt driver as you suggested. I then reinstalled it under 8.04. However, it prompted me to install the driver in the dx4w803\lptdriver folder -- which would have put it right back in the folder that I had just uninstalled. So I merely typed in a new directory and selected the main dx4w804 directory under Program Files. Works fine. Your emails about deleting older versions prompted me to do just that yesterday. I also upgraded to 8.04 without a hitch.
