Arne - K7KA Here is the instructions I follow to up load to LoTW. I don't use all the features of DX4WIN because I just don't care to set them up. For me, this is simple to use and gets the job done. I down load once a month and after every CW / RTTY contest.
73 Dick kS0M Below received from Arnie / K7KA 10/7/10 Hello Dick A friend uploaded my entire log in March when I was trying to switch to DXLAB. He was a DXLAB user and it was easy for him. HOWEVER, I could not get the hang of DXLAB so went back to DX4WIN and upgraded to V8.04. I am at the point of wanting to look into an LOTW upload and tie it to a QSL submission for my 2010 DXCC submission. I probably have well over 200 band/entities to claim. BTW, I must submit QSLs because I have 160M QSLs that require HQ DXCC Desk checking and its same price 1 to 120 QSOs in a submission. I am interested in seeing how you do it. BTW, I have not tried to upload with DX4WIN yet, so I am looking at a first time event using DX4WIN. Would you be willing to publish your instructions? If you have used them on several uploads they are most likely "pretty clear and easy to follow and something many folks using DX4WIN could use to successfully upload and claim credits (I had 161 waiting in March and have since got into a 2010 DXCC marathon with a club so more do exist. I find I must use LOTW to claim PJ2BVU on 6M. He refuses to QSL even though I had sent SAE and funds to him. I even tried someone who knows him and saw him and he still will NOT QSL, guess you can call it we are buying his equipment or what ever. Poor state of affairs when such is the case.
