Now it is more clear if a callsign mapping "ends", i.e. for 3Y1VC: 3Y1VC in 1976 is Antarctica, CE9 in CQ Zone 38 Changed start dates aren't reported as such. If the revision note says "XXX starting MM/DD/YYYY is <entity>, <PREFIX>", it might be a brand new entry, or change one that already existed (you can't tell from the notes). Here is a good example: KC6DM from 09-15 February 1986 is Micronesia, V6 KC6DM from 16-23 February 1986 is Palau, T8 The previous version had: KC6DM from 11-18 February 1986 is Micronesia, V6 KC6DM from 19-28 February 1986 is Palau, T8 So this release could have said (using the old revision reporting): Changed start date for KC6DM in Micronesia, V6 to 09 February 1986 Changed start date for KC6DM in Palau, T8 to 16 February 1986 You can assume that the notes for the NEWEST release are correct. I can restore the original wording if people want, it just simplified the code to do it the new way, or put the word (change) at the end. That might be the best way. 73 - Jim AD1C -- Jim Reisert AD1C, <[email protected]>, http://www.ad1c.us ______________________________________________________________ Dx4win mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
