I too am confused about the notfound file. I have just done a test; if you import an ADIF twice (in mycase, I did just that; in practice, if someone uploads a QSO with me twice in LOTW) the 2nd QSO then is summarised in the dialogue box as "x" duplicates, and is included in the notfound file
I think that this is confusing; notfound should be just that; or the record has a duplicate marked against it. The other category in the notfound report is where the QSO details have been changed by an LOTW user - typical example is the US State is different on the QSL card to that on the US operators upload file. Again, I can have no influence on this ! 73 Dave G3NKC -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Paul van der Eijk Sent: 01 January 2011 20:24 To: Robert Morris Cc: DX4WIN Reflector Subject: Re: [Dx4win] LOTW questions Bob, In the QSO Window: LoTW | Review QSOs not found Pressing F1 with that menu selected will show you the help or look for notfound in the help index. --Paul, KK4HD On 1/1/2011 2:21 PM, Robert Morris wrote: > Greetings and HNY, > > Did an upload today, brought me current to the end of the year 2010. > Uploaded 7703 QSO's. > > Downloaded the report, imported and am a little confused with the results. > > An information popup appears and says: > > ******* > 42 Confirmed QSO's were not found in the log See the following file > for details: > C:\dx4w801\report1.notfound > > 6552 QSO's were updated using data from imported QSO's > > 39 QSO's were marked with conflicting information using data from > imported QSO's. > ******* > Checked AD1C's support information but did not find anything which > addresses these questions.
