I use Virtual Audio Cable for digital modes using the Flex-5000A. In latest DX4WIN, I can select either Line 2 (Input) or Line 1 (Output) in the Input drop-down. In the Output drop down, Line 1 is not an option. Other options are visible, but none that I would ever use.
