Hi Byron, I'm sorry you had so many problems with the USB adapters. I have heard to stay away from ALL *except* those that have the FTDI chip set. I prefer the microHAM and/or Rigblaster type solutions, but that won't give you enough COM ports for the rotator, etc. Good luck getting the amp going. The legacy of COM ports will be the death of us all!
