I made some more changes to the DX4WIN data file UPDATE program. I'm thinking of renaming it to "DX4WIN Data Updater", but that's for the next release. You can download the new file from:
http://dx4win.ad1c.us/update.htm I encourage you to read the instructions (see the new window example) and download the latest version, especially if you're using an old version that downloads the uncompressed versions of the country file awards database (the new one is faster). If you already have a version recent enough such that Wget and UnZip are already installed, there's nothing else to do besides downloading the newest UPDATE.BAT. Here are the changes in this version: Test that WGET and UNZIP are installed Added Color and Title (VE2DC) Prompt before updating each file (VE2DC) The updater is now interactive (thanks Mel VE2DC) so you no longer have to comment out parts that you don't want to update. I may add two more choices for downloading the correct version of the master call database (older versions of DX4WIN need a different file name), and whether to download the "keep alive" version of the Telnet cluster list.
