I knew I was in for some fun when I changed computers (went from xp to 7), upgraded DX4WIN from ver 7 to 8, and added a new rig all at the same time. For the most part, things have gone smoothly in large part thanks to AD1C's excellent tutorials.
I have the 7600 connected via the USB port and DX4WIN (ver 8.05) reads its frequency fine and tracks any changes I make on the radio. However, when I try to grab a spot and send to the radio, the frequency is not changing for some reason. The mode on the radio will change as appropriate but the frequency does not. The band window in DX4win changes momentarily and then goes back to what the radio is set to. I thought there might be something in the 7600 menus that needed changing but I don't see it if it's there. I'm using the rig file that came in ver 8.05. The 7600 is set as radio#2. A K3 is radio #1 and works as expected. Anyone have any ideas on what to try?
