Just use the date range when signing the adif file you exported from DX4WIN. If you set out a list on paper perhaps a range of a year for each year of your log, cross off each one as you go through the signing process for that year giving the resultant tq8 file a logical individual name, then when you have completed all the years upload the individual tq8 files one by one to the LoTW server.
Hope that helps. 73 John ZL1BYZ -----Original Message----- From: dx4win-boun...@mailman.qth.net [mailto:dx4win-boun...@mailman.qth.net] On Behalf Of Courtney Judd K4WI Sent: Sunday, 7 August 2011 08:46 To: DX4WIN Subject: [Dx4win] splitting up my log Hey all, looking for some help here with dividing my log up into two or more parts. I have version 7.02.15 with 104K qso's entered. My problem is that sending this log as is to LOTW gets rejected by the ARRL server as too big.. 11 meg... I have read the manual and help files and still have not figured out how to do this... very confusing to say the least! Any help would be appreciated... thanks and 73's Cort K4WI ______________________________________________________________ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:DX4WIN@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html ______________________________________________________________ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:DX4WIN@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
