I'm using Win XP Pro, IC-7600 1.11, DX4Win 8.05 and have erratic operation when clicking on spots. Sometimes the radio moves band and mode, sometimes one or the other, sometimes nothing. Multiple clicks will eventually get it where it should be. I reinstalled DX4Win after reading of concerns for a corrupted config file. I'm using the rig file dated 1/2/2011 (in the current download of DX4Win 8.05). I've tried the rig file dated 2/6/2011 but then get the VFO and band map jitters every few seconds. I have set polling to 2500 mSec. I'm using default CI-V addresses: 7A, 9600 Baud with neither RTS nor DTR checked and max tries at 2. I've set computer to match baud with 8,n,1,n
Which rig file is the correct one to use? Is there a work around for the flashing VFO? I read through the archives, but don't see a final setup recommendation.
