Hi Kostas, I have a new Dell 620 running Windows 7 running Home Premium 64 bit. It has no RS-232 serial ports. I purchased a Vantec Adapter to go from the usb ports toa RS-232 cable to connect to the FT-1000 MP. When i attempt to set a port for the radio on DX4Win I get an error message: Error ie_badid Specified com port does not exist. This occurs on every port I have tried up through 8. I have looked on line and tried some suggestiond but none seem to work. If you can help it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Tom K5IID
