My thanks to all who responded to my question on dealing with Norm, W3IZ at the LoTW desk.
It appears that he's difficult for most and a saint for a couple of you. (:-)) I have 61 years of logs that I've spent hundreds of hours entering into DX4WIN. The project started when LoTW was created and I'd been looking forward to uploading the data into LoTW. I spent several weeks pushing on the LoTW rope and then called Newington for help. Unfortunately, it was Norm who took my call. No doubt the problem is mine, but as many of you mentioned the program -is- difficult. Perhaps the tone of my dealings with Norm was set when, as a matter of introduction I mentioned that I've been a friend of Wayne Mills, N7NG for many years. (Wayne ran the LoTW program for a few of years) His reply was; "I'll try to not hold that against you". Unfortunately that appears to have been a serious comment. Norm is definately not suited to be a "help desk" staffer. I have 308 CW DXCC credits, but there's a few more in my logs that I'd enjoy having credit for, but it's not a big deal. Again, thank you all for your responses, and ... 73!
