I want to be able to record when I send a card, how I send it and ideally, where I send it to. Then I want to be able to record when I receive a response and how it was sent.
If I send three requests--one direct with an IRC and $2, one OQRS with $5 via PayPal and one via the Bureau--and finally receive a response via LOTW, I want to know when I sent each card, how and with what, and when/how I received the response. As QSL methods become more diverse and direct mail more expensive, these kinds of records could be invaluable and would seem ideal for computerization. Recent upgrades have emphasized awards and LOTW. I would like to see equal emphasis given to the QSL process.
