The usual Rule of Thumb is: Work First, Worry Later (WFWL) Over the many years I've been DX'ing, Countries/Entities have come and gone and sometimes they count and sometimes they don't. So, I say to just work whatever you can and some day it might count, or not. The fun comes from working something.
