Do you you have your preferences configured for that radio? File | Preferences and click on the Radio tab. Under Type, try either Orion or Orion_x (I don't know which is the right one). Select the correct Baud Rate and COM port for your radio. Then Save your preferences. Start logging a new QSO in real-time Add mode (F9). Watch the Freq field as you tune the dial. Is the frequency tracking the radio?
