I agree that there is a lot of "over-spotting" taking place over the Cluster Network. We've seen a lot of "TNX for the nice QSO, 73" spots lately which seems pretty worthless to me. Why would the World care about somebody thanking for a QSO which they just thanked over the air????? Anyway.... I'd like to be able to place a station on my BandMap that I just worked but didn't spot since it was common or of no concern to Cluster Users. In CT, I do it with CTRL-ENTER. I'd like to do it in DX4WIN without spotting it on the Cluster. Is that capability there now and I haven't found it? TNX/73, Bob K8BL

The DXcluster network is filled with clutter that takes a supercomputer to filter down to what is important. With the RBN's posting every CQ and appliance ops postings, an unfiltered DXcluster is worthless. Posting a logbook makes it even more so... 73, Art W6KY ________________________________ From: "[email protected]" <[email protected]> To: Jim Reisert AD1C <[email protected]> Cc: DX4WIN Reflector <[email protected]> Sent: Thu, November 29, 2012 10:50:40 AM Subject: Re: [Dx4win] QSO Look Up anomaly HELLO ALL, Is it possible for me to setup 8.05 so when I press enter to log a station that DX4WIN also sends out an announcement to the cluster? There are four different kinds of callsign matches. It sounds like you have "Fuzzy" selected in your preferences. Having said that, if your QSO window is showing a particular call as the result of a search, that same call/QSO should be highlighted in both the Same Call and the Logbook windows. If it is not, then something is wrong. -- Jim Reisert AD1C, <[email protected]>, http://www.ad1c.us ______________________________________________________________ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html ______________________________________________________________ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html ______________________________________________________________ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html ______________________________________________________________ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
