Thanks for all the help. All is working OK. I had made a dumb mistake when I forgot to disable all the I/O from the previous logger program. As you said " You can't share ports". 73 de Joe.

Is it connected to a USB port on your computer, with a virtual COM port created by the USB driver, or do you have a real serial COM port between the computer and the WinKey? Your setup looks and sounds correct. I can't see my exact setup at home, but it's working fine for me.
