Hello Frank
you have in file>preferences>stations all bands unchecked. This will grey your spots. You must have checked the bands you use. If you do this and spots are still grey, then you should go File>awards>dxcc and see if bands you use, are also checked here. If you make dx4win as you wish, it is good practice to get a backup of your preferences. So go to File>preferences>File>write ini file . this will have as a result a dx4win.ini file will be written in your save directory. Keep this file in a safe place. When rf comes again, you can go same way to file>preferences>file>merge ini file and have all your choises back at once.

Hi,

Some bad RFI in the shack wiped out settings on DX4WIN. Now, all of the dx packet spots are grey. can't figure this out. I'm in expert mode, and all bands (160m to 6m) are checked off.

Also, my 'Country' window is screwed up. I get a "Fixed column count must be less than column count" message. The country window just shows one blank cell in the upper left of the window...

Any suggestions?

Frank, W2YK
