To Mark, Dave and Ernie Thank you for the replies and the TS480 file. It must have been added to the distribution of DX4WIN sometime since my last upgrade which was a long time ago now. Sounds like you have used it Ernie without issues so I'm sure I will be good to go when get some power on the rig.
I also will be setting it up with WriteLog. I have the latest version here and it doesn't have the TS480 in the list either so will have to poke around with that too but one step at a time. Thanks again for the help. 73 John ZL1BYZ -----Original Message----- From: DX4WIN [mailto:dx4win-boun...@mailman.qth.net] On Behalf Of John Shaw Sent: Sunday, January 11, 2015 10:57 AM To: DX4WIN@mailman.qth.net Subject: [Dx4win] Kenwood TS480 Hi all, Setting up a TS480 with DX4WIN here for a friend. No problems yet, waiting for the power lead so I can fire it up. :-) I have no manual and I see there is no TS480 in the rig list so I thought I'd ask what works for those who have already done this to speed up the learning curve. Which radio did you select and what are the communication settings work, any issues around the TS480? Thanks.
