Hi all, I wrote a program years ago that decoded the group numbers/names and the filter information too from the .DXL file. At one time I had thoughts of "extracting" the group and filter information from one .DXL file and creating a new .DXL with the same information. Some where along the way, it became obvious that it would be more reliable to just copy the old .DXL to a new name.DXL, remove all the log records and go from there! If there is interest, I will clean it up so others can use it (I wrote it for me at the time). If you want any specific option, let me know. What I wrote was basically to get a hard copy of the information. Probably the most versatile thing to do is create a .CSV and then you could use Excel or other spreadsheet programs to present the list the way you can use it. Lee N7NU
