I have done this. Not sure if this is the best way but here is what I did.
I made a custom label the size of the card with nr across 1 nr down 1 Paper size Custom then adjusted the left and top spacing to put the printing where I wanted it. It actually worked quite well with an ink jet, BUT. A couple of thoughts on consumer grade printers. Ink jet printing is hopeless if it gets wet and I have had people request a replacement card because the postie dropped the letter in a puddle or something. Laser printers don't print very well on heavy card just not enough heat to fuse the toner properly, yes some have a setting for heavier paper. I'll let others decide if their laser fuses the toner good enough but I have gone back to labels and a laser printer. 73 John ZL1BYZ. -----Original Message----- From: DX4WIN [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of William Liporace Sent: Monday, 21 March 2016 14:01 To: Dan Violette; 'DX4WIN POSTINGS' Subject: Re: [Dx4win] Print QSL Cards I was hoping to print directly on the back of my pre printed QSL cards... This is my third call. I have three different cards (and styles). I can do labels for the other other two. My current printer is a Brother HL-5250. I also have a HP OfficeJet Pro 8610, but that has not as easy to setup (as I can tell).
