Hi Emily, You might try opening the ADIF file with another program, say NotePad. If it opens OK there, then do a "Save AS" to a different name. Then try to import that file. I don't know how they produced the file, but if it was on a MAC, the records may be terminated by ONLY a Line Feed as opposed to a Carriage Return/Line feed. I have encountered this issue with various files I have received from others. If you don't know how to disable your Anti-virus software, you may be able to reboot your PC in "Safe mode" (if Windows 10 still has it) and try DX4WIN/import scenario and see if the symptoms change :) 73, Lee N7NU

However, from a new DX4WIN file, I am able to import their old files that is still on m desktop. Two of the ops sent me their files, and neither can be imported. I assume the same will happen with op 3. This problem just started last night. What can I try?? My laptop now has windows 10 (installed during the WPX wknd) All the previous imports were under windows8. Any setting that I should change or beware of in Windows 10??At this point I assume it is a Windows 10 issue.
