Thanks. I got about half a dozen other responses that confirms the problem.
Overall, now having added a second sound card, I notice DX4Win makes a lot of noise. E.g. when hitting the F9 key to start adding QSO to the log. etc. etc. I really wish it was possible to switch this off.
