Then on the LoTW page, I clicked on DOWNLOAD REPORT. I saved the download as
LOTWREPORT_09072016.adi in a special LOTW folder I have on the desktop for
this purpose.
Then I went back to DX4WIN and attempted to import the
LOTWREPORT_09072016.adi file into DX4WIN. I have done this maybe a 100 times
before without a problem. However, this time DX4WIN gives me an error
message:
IMPORT ABORTED BECAUSE OF DUPLICATE QSO CALL=MM0PAI/P DATE 08/31/2016.
My guess is you attempted to import a log (File -> Import/Export)
instead of importing the LoTW record (LoTW -> Import from LoTW).
