Hello all
Thanks to N7KA and W0VTT for e-mails. Now I got some more details about the problem. In version 5.03 there is a lot of QSOs, and some of the QSOs are very old. When the log is upgraded to version 8.05 some of the CW (and only the CW) QSOs are not correct in the log. Mainly it seems that the problem are on the 5 old contest bands in other words 10, 15, 20, 40 and 80 meters. It is also mainly QSOs before 1 January 1975 that is the problem. When the DXCC report is running the CW QSOs will be count as MIXED and CW in the total view. When the same report is running for e.g. 80 meters it is NOT counting. Present I have no pictures from the log, but I have been informed that mode is missing on these old QSOs. There are no problems with PHONE QSOs also before 1 January 1975. There are no DIGI QSOs in the log. Any help for this strange error is most helpful. 73 Joe, OZ0J -----Oprindelig meddelelse----- Fra: Mike Cizek W0VTT [mailto:[email protected]] Sendt: 11. december 2016 13:08 Til: 'OZ0J Joe' <[email protected]>; [email protected] Emne: RE: [Dx4win] Upgrade from ver 5.03 to ver 8.05 Hello Joe, The missing and changed QSOs are most likely because the country database was updated when he upgraded to 8.05. 73, Mike W0VTT -----Original Message----- From: DX4WIN [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of OZ0J Joe Sent: Sunday, 11 December, 2016 01:10 To: [email protected] Subject: [Dx4win] Upgrade from ver 5.03 to ver 8.05 Hi A friend of mine have tried to upgrade from version 5.03 to version 8.05. I have not seen the errors, but he has informed me, that some of the CW QSOs are missing/changed the prefix (DXCC). There is no problem with the SSB QSOs. Could it be the jump from version 5.03 to 8.05 that is too difficult? 73 Joe, OZ0J ______________________________________________________________ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html ______________________________________________________________ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
