Hi Vic,

Like you I have been a user from close to day #1. Like you I am a loyal
user. Like you I have recommended the program to many as well.

You are free to think the new update is vaporware. Unlike you I don't
think Paul would make a statement that is a lie.

In my opinion the current version is pretty darn good as it stands. Yes I
know Paul has not been able to keep up with all the new modes and wants
that some users ask for. It can do 99% of what I need. I am not a
programmer but I have a feeling that there is lots more involved than just
adding to the existing program. My guess is that up to now Paul has been
doing band aids to an old programming software and the new DX4WIN update
had to be started from scratch with a new compiler or whatever is the
newer windows software needs to be written in.

So unlike you I will wait for the new version.... I have looked at other
logging software over the years and I stayed with DX4WIN. So you are free
to look around and maybe download the free ones out there and go thru the
learning curves and find out they are not perfect either. I am sure the
wait for the new Version will be well worth my wait.

I give Paul kudos to be thoroughly confident he is coming to us with a
stable product that will make those choose to wait happy because it is.

So that is my 2 cents worth......
