Still no solution to this problem at the moment. I contacted my ISP about this issue as suggested by Javi and included the details that he kindly gave me; however, they clearly do not want to put in any effort to resolve my problem. It appears they may do if I tell them exactly what needs to be done!
With Javi's suggestion of changing to https I initially got a one result but after that nothing. Their reply: I'm afraid that this does not appear to be something that we would support as we would change traffic polices for a single user issue. However if you were able to obtain more information about what changes needed to be made we could get back to you with a more definitive answer to your question.
