Hello Steve, That's because your K3 is in the Data mode, and all it reports to dx4win, or to any other logging program, is that it's in Data. There is no way for the logging program to tell which sound card mode you are using.
On the menu bar at the top, click on Radio > Ignore Mode in real time and that will let you select whichever mode you are using. -- 73, Mike Cizek WØVTT -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Steve Lund Sent: Tuesday, November 14, 2017 17:22 To: Mel SM0MPV Cc: dx4win Subject: Re: [Dx4win] Mode RTTYM When I click on the Mode box, RTTY is the 4 selection. The first 5 selections are not in alphabetical order. Using AFSK A on my K3 in Real-time selects RTTY. It appears that one can not change a real-time mode selection. WHY? When I operate the WSJT-X modes in real-time, they all show RTTY. It would be nice to be able to override this.
