Hi Jim, The problem is that the ARRL didn't archive the call sign of the station worked. It simply consists of a matrix of country and band/mode data. So these dummy calls usually contain the country prefix, .e.g. 3ADUM. I handled 3D2/R and 3D2/C by creating 3D2DUM0 & 3D2DUM1 for each respectively. Each maps to the appropriate country. Confused yet?
I have to do all this extra work all because I didn't have off-site backup. I'll be looking into Clublog as recommended by John, K9EL. 73 de K2WK - Walt - Virginia > -----Original Message----- > From: Jim Reisert AD1C [mailto:jjreis...@alum.mit.edu] > Sent: Tuesday, December 26, 2017 9:30 AM > To: Walt Kornienko > Cc: DX4WIN Reflector > Subject: Re: [Dx4win] Merging country files > > On Mon, Dec 25, 2017 at 4:15 AM, Walt Kornienko K2WK wrote: > > > Due to a data loss long ago, I need to manually merge my country files > > to get the proper mappings. > > Hi Walt, > > Send me the errors/changes and I'll add them to the next version of > the country file, assuming they make sense.
