Fixed! It took a complete reinstall of 9.03 and then an update to 9.04. I
then loaded the config file from the previous install and when the windows
loaded -- there was the DX Spot window!

That only took about five hours to figure out! Despite battery backup, a long
power failure yesterday seemed to mess up the computer. DX4 was not running,
but when I tried to start it last night everything blew up.

Seems to be all okay now. Back to working DX.

Hi Paul,

I just tried closing the log. Only the radio frequency control window is left
open – and the top banner. And the packet window is minimized.

Nothing else is visible. I am using version 9.0.4.1176 and dual monitors.
When the log is open all other windows are displayed in the correct positions
across both monitors.

Dave

Dave,

When you close your log there will be fewer windows open; it may have been
covered by another window?

Packet window at start up works fine and it logs into localhost:7300 and
displays first 25 spots. But no Spot window. And no bandmap. I need to see
the spot window to bring up bandmap.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thank you.
