I have just bought an IC 7600 and have been struggling to get the communication between the computer and the rig to work.
I us a Dell with XP professional 64 bits, DX4WIN 9.04 and have connected the rig with an USB-cable. I have an SPE Expert 1K-FA amplifier connected via ALC, Send and C-IV. All baud rates are set the same 9600 in DX4WIN, the com port, the rig and amplifier. I have tried to use both ICOM 7600_250Hz and the ICOM 7600_500Hz The program and rig do not match, when clicking on a spot or a spot from the band map. It seems like it is the frequencies that do not match, mode changes, but I have not tested this so much. When using N1MM everything works.
