I just bought a new IC-7300, and at first I could not get it to work
correctly with DX4WIN (version 9.0.4.1176). It seemed as though I could
send data to the rig, but I could not read anything from the rig. I
tried everything I could think of, and nothing worked.
Then, I found an alternative rig file for the 7300 on Jim AD1C's web
site, from Bjorn SM7IUN. It worked perfectly.
I was surprised that the rig file contained in the program didn't work,
especially since I think the IC-7300 is a very popular radio and I think
I am using the most recent version of the program.
I'm not asking for help, not any more anyway, but I would be interested
if anyone else has had a similar experience.
