Hi Steve, You don't say which version of DX4WIN you are running. Did the radio used to work? A radio (.rig) file doesn't just stop working. The hex value only applies to ICOM radios, not Yaesu. 38.4K may be the correct baud rate, I don't remember. It sounds like the COM port in your computer (virtual or physical) has stopped working, or the cable between the computer and the radio is bad. If the radio times out, the radio (.rig) file is *not* deleted. I don't remember ever seeing that wording in the message. This can also happen if you leave DX4WIN running in real-time entry mode (F9) and turn off the radio. Do you have any other software that works with that radio you can use to verify the COM port and cable? -- Jim Reisert AD1C, <[email protected]>, http://www.ad1c.us ______________________________________________________________ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] Message delivered to [email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
