You can't go directly from 4.07 to 9.03. You will need an intermediate version like 8.05. Copy the log file from 4.07 to 8.05. Use 8.05 to read the file, then save it. Bands/mode should be OK. Then copy log file from 8.05 to 9.03. When you open this file in 9.03, bands/modes should be OK.
