I use #3. To make it a bit easier I created an icon on the Desktop that references the WSJT-X log.
DX4WIN opens that icon and imports the log. So what do you guys do? 1) Manually transfer the info to DX4WIN after the radio connection times out, have to remember to enter all the band data, etc 2) The 990 has in addition to the USB virtual COM connection, a real COM port I suspect but have not tried it that I could run both the USB/COM and the REAl/COM dedicate one port to DX4WIN and dedicate the other connection to WJST-X 3) WJST-X has a loging mode, so just log everything to WJST-X and then import that log into DX4WIN later ? 4) Or ????
