Hello Raymundo, Unfortunately, there is not an easy way to import your logged QSOs from WSJT-X into DX4WIN. We have asked Paul to consider adding UDP broadcast support to DX4WIN, so that once a QSO is logged within WSJT-X it would also automatically be logged in DX4WIN. But Paul has not responded to this request -- even though most other logging programs already support UDP.
So now all you can do is manually import the logfile from WSJT-X into DX4WIN. This is not as easy as it sounds because the WSJT-X logfile is hidden in an obscure folder within Windows. I have shortened the search process by mapping a drive in Windows to the folder within WSJT-X so that I can find the file faster. But it is still not ideal. We need UDP support. To manually import the log file from WSJT-X, go to File in DX4WIN, then Import/Export, make sure ADIF is the file type selected, in the smaller window select File again, Import and then go find the logfile for WSJT-X. Select the logfile and either double click or click on Open. You will see a new window for "Options for duplicate QSOs", and make sure "that Imported QSO is ignored" is the one appearing in the drop down menu. You want DX4WIN to ignore all duplicates as it imports the log from WSJT-X. Click OK and you are done. I have over 6,500 FT8 QSOs and 1,300 FT4 QSOs in my log and they all have been imported that way. The manual import of the logfile is very time consuming and laborious, and can be a real problem when you are in the middle of a big opening on 6 meters into EU. DX4WIN is an excellent logging problem except for this one glaring weakness. Now all you can do is manually import the WSJT-X logfile over and over and over... I hope this helps. 73, Dave, N4QS -----Original Message----- From: dx4win-boun...@mailman.qth.net <dx4win-boun...@mailman.qth.net> On Behalf Of Raymundo Rodriguez Sent: Tuesday, October 15, 2019 2:08 PM To: dx4win list <dx4win@mailman.qth.net> Subject: [Dx4win] Fwd: WSJT to DX4WIN Dear friends, I have my DX4WIN updated and I am starting to operate FT8 with Joe Taylor's WSJT software but I need to incorporate my WSJT log contacts to my permanent DX4WIN Log so I would appreciate if possible provide me with the instructions I must follow to achieve Incorporate them, I will be highly grateful for your support in completing this task.
