Just checking to see if this is operator error or a bug/issue. When I set the submode in DX4WIN 9.07 (for example, SSB with a submode of USB), I do not get matches when I download the LOTW .adi file with confirmations, even if everything else matches up (date, time, call, mode, frequency, etc). The .notfound file has these contacts marked with a X on the far left column. If the submode is set, it will not match. I tested this with SSB and USB and LSB and in every case if I delete the submode in DX4WIN, it will match the very same .adi I just downloaded from LOTW. I haven't tested it with MSFK and submode FT4 yet.
