It is not a question of being satisfied, it is a question of being totally ignored by the developpers. Yes, DX4Win does a lot of nice things, it does everything most hams expect from a logging program.
But any request for update is totally ignored : no reply whatsoever.
But I am repeating myself, I think...
Any company that would not respond (one way or another) to its customers' remarks is bound for bankrupcy...

To those "leaving" DX4WIN.....I'll say Goodbye to you, adios.....and
hope you find greener grass in other pastures.

Me, I'm delighted with DX4WIN....have been for .....I can't count how
many years....25 or more I do believe. I have worked in the IT
industry for over 35 years as an Electrical Engineer and the last
almost 10 years in Software Development. No software is PERFECT. I see
updates/patches from DX4WIN often. I've gotten support any time I
needed it. I've gotten MORE than what I paid for. Do they implement
EVERY function or capability that every customer asks for? NO. No
software does that. They all have pros and cons....trade-offs.

So I'm delighted with DX4WIN and what it offers and I'm going
absolutely nowhere. For those leaving, bye bye baby. Don't let the
door hit ya' on the way out...........you're free to spend your money
anywhere you like. I hope you find happiness....but for some, after
dealing with customers for many, many years in this industry.....I
know some of you will never be satisfied. That's just the way it
is..........

Just figured with so many vocal folks voicing their opinion out there
and complaining....it was time some of us who love the product spoke
up. We're free to do that and support it too, of course.....just like
the nay-sayers..........

Goodbye Norma Jean, goodbye DX4win.
After much deliberation, I decided that DX4win was no longer my choice
after 20+ years of use. The main reason is Paul's lack of collaboration and
waiting for updates on the dropper. We all paid this program fairly and
stayed on it thanks to the JIm AD1C. Without his support, DX4win would have
been retired long ago. I made my money honestly, so I expect to get what I
paid for it, no more or less.
Thank goodness today we can find many freeware programs that offer much
more.
Greetings to all with the hope of meeting you at the bands.
BTW my choice is Log4om V2.
