On top of that, Yaesu claim to be working with third party developers
to resolve the issue. This is not correct with regard to microHAM (one
of the developers specifically named by Yaesu) as OM7ZZ at microHAM
reports on the microHAM list that they have not been contacted by
Yaesu.
The issue (as documented on the main FTdx101 group at groups.io) is
that ALL "single parameter" commands received on the RS-232 interface
return an error message. The same commands received on the USB port
work correctly.

But when you look in the CAT manual you see that the command for "MODE" =
MD(P1);
but that cmd disappeared in latest firmware update for FTDX101 .... ..

there is or was a firmware update from YAESU that corrupted the cat
commands maybe they solved it already and released a bugfix, if not go back
to a previous firmware release.
Both the latest FTDX101 and FTDX10 rig files with FT8 mode are available on
request.

I checked my 101D last night, and DX4WIN (and HDSDR with Omnirig) are both
working perfectly. I don't remember if any of the recent updates updated rig
files? I just know mine still works fine, and I do ALL the updates when they
are available.
