UPDATE Yaesu released new FW version that they say it fix the rs232 issue. At the moment is available at Jaesu Japan site, not yet published at english international site. Somebody found this description: Here are the changes in Main v1.22 MAIN V01-22 (2021/5) 1. Fixed a bug that the "MENU" setting of the old firmware version saved on the SD card was not loaded correctly after writing the new firmware. 2. Fixed a bug that "PRESS" operation becomes an error when selecting "PEAK" level in "FUNC" menu. 3. The operation mode during PSK mode operation has been changed from "PSK-LSB" to "PSK-USB". 4. The initial value of the operation selection of the ANT3 / RX terminal has been changed from "TRX" to "RX-ANT" (receive only). 5. Fixed a CAT command error when using the RS232C port. 6.
