Hi all, Running v9 latest (9.0.9.1259). The last couple times I’ve done “check for updates” and installed them (most recently today), I get the error message “Country.dat file missing”. The application throws an exception and restarts. There is, in fact, no country.dat file in my /save folder (or anywhere in the /DX4WIN tree). But all my country totals, etc. are correct. The program seems to be running fine without it?!?
I can grab a backup copy from my /backup folder, but it seems to make no difference to the application. If I then try “check for updates” again (with the ‘old’ country.dat file in place), the updater says “no updates”. What have I forgotten / am I missing? Is the error a red herring and country.dat info lives somewhere else?
