Go to C:/dx4w906/save and look for kr9a.dxl or any file ending with the .dxl extension. This is your log. If not there go to your WIN search box (lower left corner of your display) and search for KR9A.DXL. If/when you find this file copy and paste to the above SAVE folder. Your .dxl log file may have somehow gotten saved in a different folder. Or is your call W9KO as in your email address?
I have had problems in the past opening DX4WIN due to a missing CTY file. I go to the dx4w906/backup folder, find the last country.dat file, and copy and paste it into the dx4w906/save folder. DX4WIN will now open with the old country file. Do an UPDATE to get the latest county file. I suggest going frequent back up of my .dxl file. Easy to do by going to FILE: SAVE AS. When the SAVE AS window opens right click on your .dxl file. A window will open. Select SEND TO and select a device to save the file (I use a thumb drive). Your .dxl file will be saved to what ever device you have chosen.
