I don't know if anyone would like this idea or not.
I wrote a DOS batch file that executes whenever I boot up my computer. It copies my current log file to a thumb drive plugged into the back of my computer. That way I don't lose anything up to that point. If later I make contacts and want to save them as well, I have a shortcut on my desktop to activate the batch file and it will save the log file at that point whenever I click on it. Any time I open Dx4Win, it always opens the file in my save folder not the one on the thumb drive. The only time I have to be careful is if I open the file on the thumb drive to look at it, I have to go to the save folder and open my log from there to make sure it doesn't open the one on the thumb drive. Just a suggestion. It has worked for me for several years with no problems. 73 and good luck Bruce Blackley WD4LBR -- This email has been checked for viruses by AVG. https://www.avg.com ______________________________________________________________ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
