I'm dead in the water.
When I try to start DX4WIN after the attempted update I get the following
window:

X An error occurred in the application. continue application
restart
application
mail bug report show bug report close application
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Nothing I do will open DX4WIN. Just get the error notification.
I did a massive Bureau QSL card logging effort to DX4WIN two days ago.
Can't afford to lose all that work.
Please help.
